Frequently Asked Questions

A home inspection is a detailed examination of a property’s physical condition — structural systems, plumbing, electrical, finishing, and other key components — conducted by a qualified professional prior to purchase, hand-over or occupancy.

Because we combine 18+ years of construction experience with certified engineering expertise and advanced tools (thermal imaging, moisture meters, BOSCH detectors) to deliver accurate and clear reports — helping you avoid hidden defects and costly repairs.

For ready-built homes: ideally before you finalize the purchase or move in.
For under-construction buildings: during key stages of construction (see our Multi-Stage Inspection process) to catch issues early.

This is a series of inspections conducted at different stages of construction to ensure quality and compliance at each milestone. Typical stages include: • Pre-Slab / Base Stage (before concrete slab is poured) • Frame Stage (after roof and wall frames, plumbing/electrical rough-in) • Lock-Up / Pre-Plaster Stage (external cladding, windows done) • Fixing / Pre-Paint Stage (internal fixtures, tiling, waterproofing) • Final / Handover Stage (complete build, ready for occupancy) These inspections give you multiple opportunities to identify defects before they become harder (or more expensive) to fix.

Our inspection covers: • Structural checks: slabs, beams, floors, walls, tiles. • Plumbing & sanitary systems: leaks, drainage, hidden pipe issues. • Electrical systems: load checks, safety hazards, wiring faults. • Finishes & woodwork: doors, windows, cupboards, tiling hollowness. • Dampness & waterproofing issues, especially in coastal homes like Kakinada. • A digital colour-coded report delivered within 24 hours.

Cosmetic issues (paint, wallpaper) that don’t affect safety or structure. • Hidden or inaccessible defects (e.g., inside sealed walls) unless agreed. • Predicting future life-expectancy of components or conducting full appraisals of market value.

Typically for a regular house it takes 1.5 – 3 hours depending on size and access. After inspection, we analyse and deliver a full report (includes photos, codes & recommendations) within 24 hours.

You (the owner or purchaser) are welcome to attend. It’s not mandatory. However, being present helps you understand findings better. We also coordinate with builders if the inspection is under construction.

The report will list findings with clear recommendations and a priority code (critical, attention needed, safe) for each issue. We can also assist in re-inspection after repairs, or recommend trusted service partners if needed.

Not always. Depending on your budget and construction type, you may choose key milestones. However, inspecting at multiple stages significantly reduces risks of costly repairs later and ensures your home meets long-term quality standards.

We are based in Kakinada and specialise in coastal home conditions (dampness, salt exposure). We also serve nearby areas such as Samalkota, Peddapuram and Rajahmundry, and are exploring expansions.

The cost depends on the size, type and stage of the property. We provide a quote after initial discussion. Investing in inspection can save you lakhs in repairs and offer peace of mind.

Within 24 hours of inspection completion. Digital reports are emailed in PDF format, colour-coded for ease of understanding.
